Slitting/Welding

Samdong Industrial utilizes post-processing facilities
and technologies to meet the needs of consumers for various film standards.

In the extrusion production process, direct slitting packaging using in-line slitting Z folding is in progress, and the film is produced as a fabric and then packaged and supplied through off-line slitting. In addition, to overcome the limitation of the maximum production width of the extruder, we are utilizing preproduced film fabrics by slitting and bonding (welding) them. Precise slitting of optical protective and high-performance food packaging films with various specification is done separately in a clean room facility.

Slitter

  • IN-Line Slitting

    Z Folding: 2 units (maximum width 1,220 cm)
    Slitting by size on the line after production of lot/roll fabric

  • Off-line slitting

    1 unit (slitting up to 1,000 cm wide)
    Slitting the roll fabric to the specifications desired by consumers

  • Precision slitting

    2 units (precise slitting from 10 cm to 1,900 cm) Slitting in clean room of optical or high-performance food packaging products to enable high-speed and uniform processing for customers

Welding Machine

  • Fully automatic welding

    Z folding: 1 unit (maximum width: 1,800, minimum width: 1,220)
    Packing after fully automatic welding of maximum width (900+900' = 1,800)

  • Semi-automatic welding

    In-folding: 1 unit (maximum width: 2,000, minimum width: 1,220)
    Weld the fabric by 1,000+1,000′ = 2,000, and produce it in the unfolded width
