Ultrawide Coating

Core Technology
Samdong Industrial’s coating unit uses a D-Bar system,
not a general wire coater, and has relatively excellent coating ability.

The coating is the course of applying a functional anti-foggant liquid to the film with a rotating coater. Optimized for agricultural coating film, it boasts uniform quality and excellent light transmittance by having good coating leveling and suppressing coating defects such as streaks and stains.

Features and Advantages

  • D-Bar Coating

    The D-Bar, designed with many years of technology reflected, applies 800 nm-level liquid evenly over an ultrawide width (minimum 8 m, maximum 12 m)

  • Three-Zone Dry Chamber

    The ultra-large drying device in the three zones measuring 12 m high and 8 m wide produces uniform hot air over the entire film surface to dry the liquid-coated surface stably and evenly, optimizing the expression of physical properties

  • In-Line Wet Thickness Measurement

    Immediately after liquid application, the wet thickness is uniformly measured through a noncontact airing sensor, enabling realtime monitoring ofthe application status to ensure the production ofthe best products only at all times
